Spatial Distribution of Ecosystem Service Values in China's Terrestrial Ecosystems – Water Resource Supply Data

Different land use types exhibit distinct ecological service functions and values. The spatial distribution dataset of ecosystem service values in China's terrestrial ecosystems is based on remote sensing classification of national terrestrial ecosystem types, encompassing 15 secondary categories: dryland, cropland, coniferous forest, coniferous-broadleaf mixed forest, broadleaf forest, shrubland, grassland, shrub-grassland, meadow, wetland, desert, bare land, water bodies, glaciers/snow cover, and artificial surfaces (including built-up land and industrial/mining land). These are grouped into six primary categories: cropland, forest, grassland, wetland, desert, and aquatic ecosystems.
