Spatial Distribution of China's Soil Types Data

The Spatial Distribution Dataset of China's Soil Types is digitally generated from the '1:1,000,000 Soil Map of the People's Republic of China', compiled and published by the National Soil Survey Office in 1995. It employs the traditional 'Soil Genesis Classification' system, with the basic mapping unit being soil subgroups. This classification identifies 12 soil orders, 61 soil groups, and 227 soil subgroups. The soil attribute database contains 2,647 records with 16 attribute data fields, comprehensively covering all major soil types and their key attribute characteristics nationwide.
