China's 2013 Annual Average Temperature Spatial Interpolation Data

The Annual Average Temperature Spatial Interpolation Dataset for China since 1980 is generated from daily observational data collected at over 2,400 meteorological stations nationwide, processed through collation, calculation, and spatial interpolation. Annual average temperatures are recorded in units of 0.1°C.

For temperature climatic element interpolation, Australia's ANUSPLIN software is utilized. ANUSPLIN employs smooth spline functions for multivariate data analysis and interpolation—a method that approximates surfaces through functional fitting. It supports rigorous statistical analysis, data diagnostics, and spatial distribution examination to achieve spatial interpolation capabilities (Hutchinson M F, 1998).
