The hardness calculation caused by each ion is calculated by the following formula

Hardness (in mg/L) as CaCO3 = M2+ (mg/L) x (100 g/mol CaCO3 / atomic weight M2+)

The following calculator determines the hardness of the water
to the concentration of divalent cation calcium,
magnesium, manganese, iron, strontium.

Usage example
